Mark 10:22

22At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.

22But he was deeply dismayed by these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.

22But the man was saddened at Jesus’ words, and he left grieving, because he owned much property and had many possessions [which he treasured more than his relationship with God].

22The man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he was very rich.

22When the man heard that, his face became sad. He was a very rich man. Because of that, he went away and he was very sad.

22And he—gloomy at the word—went away sorrowing, for he was having many possessions.
