Mark 9:11

11And they asked him, “Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”

11Then they asked Jesus, “Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah has to come first?”

11Then the three disciples asked Jesus, ‘Why do the teachers of God's Law say that God's prophet Elijah must return first, before the Messiah comes?’

11And they were questioning Him, saying that the scribes say that Elijah must come first.
