Matthew 11:2

2When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples

2Now while in prison, John heard about the works of Christ, and he sent word by his disciples,

2And when Iohn heard in the prison the woorkes of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and sayde vnto him,

2John the Baptist was in prison. When he heard about the actions of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to him.

2At that time, John the Baptist was in prison. But people told him about all the things that Jesus the Messiah was doing. So John sent some of his own disciples to ask Jesus some questions.
