Matthew 12:39

39He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

39But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet;

39Jesus replied, “A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet:

39He answered, “Evil and unfaithful people ask for a sign! But none will be given except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

39Jesus replied, ‘The people who are alive today are very wicked. They do not obey God, but they want God to show them something powerful. But God will not do this for them. They will only see the same powerful thing that God did for his prophet Jonah.

39And He answering said to them, “A generation, evil and adulterous, seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet;
