Matthew 18:17

17And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as 18:17 Lit thea Gentile and 18:17 Lit thea tax collector.

17If he pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the 18:17 Gr ecclasia, the word means a gathering and may be translated congregation, assembly, or church.church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile (unbeliever) and a tax collector. [Lev 19:17; Deut 19:15]

17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

17But what if they also refuse to listen to the witnesses? Then tell it to the church. And what if they refuse to listen even to the church? Then don’t treat them as a brother or sister. Treat them as you would treat an ungodly person or a tax collector.
