Matthew 18:7

7Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

7 “Woe to the world because of its 18:7 I.e., enticements to sinstumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that 18:7 I.e., enticements to sinstumbling blocks come; but woe to the person through whom the 18:7 I.e., enticements to sinstumbling block comes!

7 “Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!

7 “Woe (judgment is coming) to the world because of stumbling blocks and temptations to sin! It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to the person on whose account or through whom the stumbling block comes! [Luke 17:1]

7Woe to the world for the causes of sin. These stumbling blocks must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

7How terrible it will be for the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Things like that must come. But how terrible for the person who causes them!
