Matthew 18:7

7Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

7 “Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to the person through whom the stumbling block comes!

7 “Woe (judgment is coming) to the world because of stumbling blocks and temptations to sin! It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to the person on whose account or through whom the stumbling block comes! [Luke 17:1]

7Woe to the world for the causes of sin. These stumbling blocks must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

7Woe unto the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must needs be that the occasions come; but woe to that man through whom the occasion cometh!

7Wo be vnto the world because of offences: for it must needes be that offences shall come, but wo be to that man by whome the offence commeth.

7 “Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!

7How terrible it will be for the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Things like that must come. But how terrible for the person who causes them!

7Some things in this world will cause people to do wrong things. You can be sure that bad things will happen. But it will be very bad for the person who causes these things to happen.

7Woe to the world from the stumbling-blocks! For there is necessity for the stumbling-blocks to come, but woe to that man through whom the stumbling-block comes!
