Matthew 24:22

22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

22And if those days [of tribulation] had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened.

22If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.

22“If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened.
