Matthew 26:28

28This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

28for this is My blood of the [new and better] covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many [as a substitutionary atonement] for the forgiveness of sins. [Ex 24:6-8]

28For this is my blood of the Newe Testament, that is shedde for many, for the remission of sinnes.

28This is my blood of the covenant. It is poured out to forgive the sins of many people.

28This is my blood that shows the agreement that God makes with his people. When I die, my blood will pour out of my body. In that way God will forgive many people for the wrong things that they have done. That is the agreement that God makes because of my death.

28for this is My blood of the New Covenant, that is being poured out for many, for forgiveness of sins;
