Matthew 26:38

38Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

38Then He *said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and keep watch with Me.”

38Then He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and stay awake and keep watch with Me.”

38Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me.”

38Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me.

38Then sayde Iesus vnto them, My soule is very heauie, euen vnto the death: tarie yee here, and watch with me.

38Then Jesus said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with me.”

38Then he said to them, “My soul is very sad. I feel close to death. Stay here. Keep watch with me.”

38He said to them, ‘I am very sad. I feel as if I could die because I feel so sad. Wait here with me and stay awake.’

38then He says to them, “Exceedingly sorrowful is My soul—to death; abide here, and watch with Me.”
