58Peter followed Jesus into the yard of Caiaphas' house. But he did not go near Jesus. He sat down in the yard with the guards who worked in the temple. He waited to see what would happen.

58and Peter was following Him far off, to the court of the chief priest, and having gone in within, he was sitting with the officers, to see the end.
