Matthew 8:17

17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

17This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled: “He Himself took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.”

17This happened so that what Isaiah the prophet had said would come true. He had said,

17Jesus did this so that the words of the prophet Isaiah would become true:
