12Your rich people are violent;

your inhabitants are liars

and their tongues speak deceitfully.

12“For the rich people of the city are full of violence,

Her residents speak lies,

And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

12“For the rich men of the city are full of violence [of every kind];

Her inhabitants speak lies

And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

12For the wealthy of the city

are full of violence,

and its residents speak lies;

their tongues are deceitful in their mouths.
