Nehemiah 13:27

27Must we hear now that you too are doing all this terrible wickedness and are being unfaithful to our God by marrying foreign women?”

27Has it not then been reported about you that you have committed all this great evil by acting unfaithfully against our God, by marrying foreign women?”

27Do we then hear about you that you have done all this great evil, acting unfaithfully against our God by marrying foreign (pagan) women?”

27Must we now hear that you too are doing all this terrible evil and acting unfaithfully against our God by marrying foreign women?”

27Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to trespass against our God in marrying foreign women?

27Shall wee then obey vnto you, to doe all this great euil, and to transgresse against our God, euen to marry strange wiues?

27Shall we then listen to you to do all this great evil, to trespass against our God in marrying foreign women?”

27Now I hear that you too are doing all of the same terrible and evil things. You aren’t being faithful to our God. You are marrying women from other lands.”

27We can never agree to all the evil things that you have done. If we all married foreign women, we would not be faithful to our God.’

27And do we listen to you to do all this great evil, to trespass against our God, to settle strange women?”
