Numbers 13:27

27They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit.

Milk (typically that of goats and sheep) was associated with abundance; “honey” referred mainly to syrups made from dates or grapes and was the epitome of sweetness. Bees’ honey was very rare and was considered the choicest of foods.flow with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
