Numbers 30:8

8But if her husband forbids her when he hears about it, he nullifies the vow that obligates her or the rash promise by which she obligates herself, and the Lord will release her.

8But if on the day her husband hears of it, he expresses disapproval to her, then he will annul her vow which 30:8 Lit is on hershe is under and the impulsive statement of her lips by which she has obligated herself; and the Lord will 30:8 I.e., for not fulfilling themforgive her.

8But if on the day her husband hears of it, he forbids her, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her.

8But if her husband disapproves of her [making her vow or pledge] on the day that he hears of it, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her.

8But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies the vow that binds her or the rash promise she has made, and the Lord will absolve her.

8But suppose her husband doesn’t allow her to keep her promises when he hears about them. Then she doesn’t have to do what she promised. She doesn’t have to do what she agreed to do without thinking it through. The Lord will set her free.
