Philippians 2:30

30because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to make up for the help you yourselves could not give me.

30because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to compensate for your absence in your service to me.

30because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was lacking in your service to me [which distance prevented you from rendering personally].

30because he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for your deficit of service to me.

30because for the work of Christ he came nigh unto death, hazarding his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.

30Because that for the woorke of Christ he was neere vnto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfill that seruice which was lacking on your part towarde me.

30because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.

30He almost died for the work of Christ. He put his life in danger to make up for the help you yourselves couldn’t give me.

30He nearly died because he was working to serve Christ. He came to help me, because you could not help me yourselves. He was even ready to die so that he could do that on your behalf.

30because on account of the work of the Christ he drew near to death, having hazarded life that he might fill up your deficiency of service to me.
