7The lips of the wise spread knowledge,

but the hearts of fools are not upright.

But the hearts of fools are not so.

7The lips of the wise spread knowledge [sifting it as chaff from the grain];

But the hearts of [shortsighted] fools are not so.

7The lips of the wise spread knowledge,

but not so the hearts of fools.
