5The Lord detests all the proud of heart.

Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.

5Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord;

Be assured, he will not go unpunished.

5Everyone who is proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting and exceedingly offensive to the Lord;

Be assured he will not go unpunished. [Prov 8:13; 11:20, 21]

5Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah:

Though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
