4Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”

and to insight, “You are my relative.”

4Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”

And call understanding your intimate friend,

4Say to [skillful and godly] wisdom, “You are my sister,”

And regard understanding and intelligent insight as your intimate friends;

4Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”

and call understanding your kinsman,

4Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister;

And call understanding thy kinswoman:

4Say vnto wisedome, Thou art my sister: and call vnderstanding thy kinswoman,

4Tell wisdom, “You are my sister.”

Call understanding your relative,

4Say to wisdom, “You are my sister.”

Say to understanding, “You are a member of my family.”

4Love wisdom in the same way that you love your sister. Be very careful to understand what is right.
