4In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;

in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

4The wicked, 10:4 Lit the height of his nosein his haughtiness, does not seek Him.

There is no God in all his schemes.

4The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him.

All his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

4The wicked, in the haughtiness of his face, will not seek nor inquire for Him;

All his thoughts are, “There is no God [so there is no accountability or punishment].”

4In his pride the wicked man does not seek Him;

in all his schemes there is no God.

4Because he is proud, that evil person doesn’t turn to the Lord.
