3Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us,

for we have endured no end of contempt.

3¶Be gracious to us, Lord, be gracious to us,

For we have had much more than enough of contempt.

3¶Be gracious to us, O Lord, be gracious and favorable toward us,

For we are greatly filled with contempt.

3Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy,

for we have endured much contempt.

3Have mercy upon us, O Jehovah, have mercy upon us;

For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

3Haue mercie vpon vs, O Lord, haue mercie vpon vs: for we haue suffered too much contempt.

3 Lord, have mercy on us. Have mercy on us,

because people haven’t stopped making fun of us.

3Please be kind to us, Lord.
