Revelation 8:3

3Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne.

He had a golden 8:3 I.e. a special container for burning incense.censer, and much 8:3 I.e. fragrant spices which exude perfume when burned.incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints (God’s people) on the golden altar in front of the throne. [Ps 141:2]

3Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.

3Another angel came and stood at the altar. He had a shallow gold cup for burning incense. He was given a lot of incense to offer on the golden altar. The altar was in front of the throne. With the incense he offered the prayers of all God’s people.
