Romans 16:4

4who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only do I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles;

4who risked their own necks [endangering their very lives] for my life. To them not only do I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

4who have risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

4who for my life laid down their own necks; unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles:

4(Which haue for my life laide downe their owne necke. Vnto whom not I onely giue thankes, but also all the Churches of the Gentiles.)

4who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the Gentiles.

4They have put their lives in danger for me. I am thankful for them. So are all the Gentile churches.

4They were even ready to die so that they could help me. So I have a good reason to thank them. All the groups of Gentile believers also have a good reason to thank them.

4who laid down their own neck for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the nations—
