Romans 2:13

13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

13for it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the Law who will be justified.

13For it is not those who merely hear the Law [as it is read aloud] who are just or righteous before God, but it is those who [actually] obey the Law who will be justified [pronounced free of the guilt of sin and declared acceptable to Him].

13for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified;

13(For the hearers of the Lawe are not righteous before God: but the doers of the Lawe shalbe iustified.

13Hearing the law does not make a person right with God. People are considered to be right with God only when they obey the law.

13Who does God accept as right with himself? It is those people who obey his Law. It is not the people who only know his Law but do not obey it.

13for not the hearers of the Law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the Law will be declared righteous.
