Romans 5:2

2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we5:2 Or let us boast in the hope of the glory of God.

2Through Him we also have access by faith into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] stand. Let us rejoice in our 5:2 In the NT the word “hope” expresses a cherished desire along with the confident assurance of obtaining that which is longed for.hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power].

2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice5:2 Or exult; also in verses 3 and 11 in the hope of the glory of God.

2Through faith in Jesus we have received God’s grace. In that grace we stand. We are full of joy because we expect to share in God’s glory.
