Romans 6:17

17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.

17But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted,

17But thank God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.

17But thanks be to God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed.

17But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered;

17But God be thanked, that ye haue beene the seruants of sinne, but yee haue obeyed from the heart vnto the forme of the doctrine, wherunto ye were deliuered.

17But thanks be to God that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.

17You used to be slaves of sin. But thank God that with your whole heart you obeyed the teachings you were given!

17At one time, you were slaves to sin. But then you received God's true message, and you were happy to obey it. I thank God because of that!

17And thanks to God, that you were servants of sin, and—were obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which you were delivered up;
