Romans 7:23

23but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.

23but I see a different law and rule of action in the members of my body [in its appetites and desires], waging war against the law of my mind and subduing me and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is within my members.

23But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me.7:23 Literally captive to the law of sin being in my members.

23But I see another law working in me. It fights against the law of my mind. It makes me a prisoner of the law of sin. That law controls me.
