Romans 8:2

2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

2Because of what Christ Jesus has done, you are free. You are now controlled by the law of the Holy Spirit who gives you life. The law of the Spirit frees you from the law of sin that brings death.

2God's Spirit has given us a new life. God's Spirit now rules in our lives and he has made us free. Sin and death no longer have authority over us.

2for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death;
