Titus 1:12

12One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.”

12Many years ago, there was a certain man who lived on Crete. The people there called him their prophet. Even he said, ‘People who live on Crete are always telling lies and doing wicked things. They are lazy and they eat too much food.’

12A certain one of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans! Always liars, evil beasts, lazy bellies!”
