Zechariah 1:15

15and I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they went too far with the punishment.’

15But I am very angry with the nations who are carefree; for while I was only a little angry, they 1:15 Lit helped for evilfurthered the disaster.”

15But I am very angry with the 1:15 I.e. the powerful Gentile nations whom God used to punish the Israelites for their disobedience.nations who are at ease and feel secure; for while I was only a little angry, they 1:15 The conquering nations sought to wipe out the children of Israel, an evil which exceeded God’s intended punishment.furthered the disaster [against the people of Israel].”

15but I am fiercely angry with the nations that are at ease. For I was a little angry, but they have added to the calamity.1:15 Or they have overdone the punishment’
