Zechariah 4:10

10“Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone4:10 Or the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel?”

10For who has shown contempt for the day of small things? 4:10 Or But they will rejoice when they see...Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of the LordBut these seven will rejoice when they see the 4:10 Lit plummet stoneplumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—they are the eyes of the Lord roaming throughout the earth.”

10For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—these are the eyes of the Lord which range to and fro throughout the earth.”

10Who [with reason] despises the day of small things (beginnings)? For these 4:10 The seven eyes reflect God’s oversight of the world and its inhabitants, and His pleasure in the construction of the temple.seven [eyes] shall rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord which roam throughout the earth.” [Rev 5:6]

10For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven eyes4:10 Or facets of the Lord, which scan the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line4:10 Or the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel.”

10“Do not look down on the small amount of work done on the temple so far. The seven eyes of the Lord look over the whole earth. They will see Zerubbabel holding the most important stone. They will be filled with joy when they see it.”
