Zechariah 4:14

14So he said, “These are the two who are anointed to4:14 Or two who bring oil and serve the Lord of all the earth.”

14Then he said, “These are the two 4:14 Lit sons of fresh oilanointed ones, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”

14Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”

14Then he said, “These are the two 4:14 The oil used in anointing symbolizes the Holy Spirit (v 6). The combination of priest and ruler points ultimately to the Messianic Priest-King (Ps 110; Zech 6:13; Heb 7).sons of fresh oil [Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel the prince of Judah] who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth [as His anointed ones].” [Rev 11:4]

14So he said, “These are the two anointed ones4:14 Hebrew the two sons of new oil who are standing beside the Lord of all the earth.”4:14 See Revelation 11:4.

14So he told me, “They are Zerubbabel and Joshua. The Lord of the whole earth has anointed them to serve him.”
