Zechariah 7:11

11“But they refused to pay attention; stubbornly they turned their backs and covered their ears.

11But they refused to pay attention, and turned a stubborn shoulder and plugged their ears from hearing.

11But they refused to listen and pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder [stiffening themselves in resistance] and stopped up their ears.

3who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

11But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.

11But they refused to pay attention to the Lord. They were stubborn. They turned their backs and covered their ears.

11But the people did not obey the Lord's commands. They turned away from him and they refused to listen to him.

11And they refuse to attend, || And they give a stubborn shoulder, || And their ears are made heavy against hearing.
