Zechariah 8:4

4This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.

4The Lord of armies says this: ‘Old men and old women will again sit in the public squares of Jerusalem, each person with his staff in his hand because of 8:4 Lit the multitude of daysage.

4Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Old men and old women will again sit in the Or squaresstreets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age.

4Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Old men and old women will again sit in the 8:4 The Hebrew word refers to broad, spread-out spaces such as wide streets, squares, plazas, public parks, and so throughout.streets (public places) of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of his advanced age.

4This is what the Lord of Hosts says: “Old men and old women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of great age.

4He continued, “Once again old men and women will sit in the streets of Jerusalem. All of them will be using canes because they are old.
