James 4:5

5Or do you think that the Scripture says to no purpose 4:5 This verse is difficult to translate, and it seems that James is paraphrasing or generalizing a scriptural concept rather than quoting directly from the Old Testament.that the [human] 4:5 Or Spirit whom He has caused to dwell in us jealously desires us.spirit which He has made to dwell in us lusts with envy? [Gen 6:5]
