1 John 4:17

17This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

17By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, we also are in this world.

17In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world.

17In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.

17Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world.

17Herein is that loue perfect in vs, that we should haue boldnes in the day of iudgement: for as he is, euen so are we in this world.

17Suppose love is fulfilled among us. Then we can be without fear on the day God judges the world. Love is fulfilled among us when in this world we are like Jesus.

17That is how we are able to love other people completely. Then, we will not be afraid on the day when God will judge all people. We can be sure that God will not punish us. We know this because we have lived in this world in the way that Jesus lived.

17In this, love has been perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because even as He is, we also are in this world.
