1 John 5:1

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

1Everyone who believes [with a deep, abiding trust in the fact] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) is born of God [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose], and everyone who loves the Father also loves 5:1 This could refer either to other born-again believers or to Jesus.the child born of Him.

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him.5:1 Literally and everyone loving the One having begotten also loves the one having been begotten from Him.

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children as well.
