16The king said to him, “How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

16Then the king said to him, “How many times must I make you swear that you will tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

16Then the king said to him, “How many times must I adjure you to speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

16But the king [doubted him and] said to him, “How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

16But the king said to him, “How many times must I make you swear not to tell me anything but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

16The king said to him, “I’ve made you promise to tell the truth many times before. So don’t tell me anything but the truth in the name of the Lord.”
