1 Peter 1:14

14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

14As 1:14 Lit children of obedienceobedient children, do not 1:14 Or conform yourselvesbe conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,

14As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,

14[Live] as obedient children [of God]; do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance [before you knew the requirements and transforming power of the good news regarding salvation].

14As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance.

14You should obey your Father. You shouldn’t give in to evil desires. They controlled your life when you didn’t know any better.
