1 Peter 1:14

14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

14As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,

14[Live] as obedient children [of God]; do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance [before you knew the requirements and transforming power of the good news regarding salvation].

14As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance.

14as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance:

14As obedient children, not fashioning your selues vnto the former lustes of your ignorance:

14as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts as in your ignorance,

14You should obey your Father. You shouldn’t give in to evil desires. They controlled your life when you didn’t know any better.

14Obey God, like good children who obey their father. Before you knew the true message about Christ, you very much wanted to do bad things. But now you should not agree to live in that bad way.
