1 Peter 2:13

13Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority,

13Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority,

13Submit yourselves to [the authority of] every human institution for the sake of the Lord [to honor His name], whether it is to a king as one in a position of power,

13Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to the king as the supreme authority,

13Be subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme;

13Therefore submit your selues vnto all maner ordinance of man for the Lordes sake, whether it be vnto the King, as vnto the superiour,

13Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme,

13Follow the lead of every human authority. Do this for the Lord’s sake. Obey the emperor. He is the highest authority.

13Obey all people who have authority in this world. Obey them, because you are servants of the Lord Jesus. First of all, obey the king, who rules everyone.

13Be subject, then, to every human creation, because of the Lord, whether to a king, as the highest,
