1 Peter 3:5

5For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands,

5For in this way the holy women of former times, who hoped in God, also used to adorn themselves, being subject to their own husbands,

5For in this way in former times the holy women, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands and adapting themselves to them;

5For this is how the holy women of the past adorned themselves. They put their hope in God and were submissive to their husbands,

5For after this manner aforetime the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

5For euen after this maner in time past did the holy women, which trusted in God, tire them selues, and were subiect to their husbands.

5For this is how in the past the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands.

5This is how the holy women of the past used to make themselves beautiful. They put their hope in God. And they followed the lead of their own husbands.

5That was how holy women made themselves beautiful many years ago. They trusted God that he would help them. They respected the authority of their husbands.

5for thus once also the holy women who hoped on God were adorning themselves, being subject to their own husbands,
