1 Samuel 2:18

18But Samuel was ministering before the Lord—a boy wearing a linen ephod.

18But the boy Samuel served the Lord. He wore a sacred linen apron.

18But Samuel served the Lord faithfully, as a young boy. He wore a linen ephod.

18And Samuel is ministering [in] the presence of YHWH, a youth girt [with] an ephod of linen;
