1 Thessalonians 2:3

3For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you.

3For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit;

3The appeal we make is based on truth. It comes from a pure heart. We are not trying to trick you.

3When we tell people to obey God's message, we are not saying anything that is not true. We do not have a wrong purpose. We are not trying to deceive anyone.
