2 Peter 1:9

9But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

9For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.

9For whoever lacks these qualities is blind—shortsighted [closing his spiritual eyes to the truth], having become oblivious to the fact that he was cleansed from his old sins.

9But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

9For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.

9For he that hath not these things, is blinde, and can not see farre off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his olde sinnes.

9For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.

9But what if these things don’t describe someone at all? Then that person can’t see very well. In fact, they are blind. They have forgotten that their past sins have been washed away.

9But some people do not live in these good ways. They do not think that these things are important. They are like blind people. They cannot really see anything properly. They have forgotten that God has made them clean from all the sins that they did in past times.

9for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins;
