Acts 6:10

10But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.

10But they were unable to cope with his wisdom and the Spirit by whom he was speaking.

10But they were not able to successfully withstand and cope with the wisdom and the intelligence [and the power and inspiration] of the Spirit by whom he was speaking.

10but they could not stand up to his wisdom or the Spirit by whom he spoke.

10And they were not able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spake.

10But they were not able to resist the wisdome, and the Spirit by the which he spake.

10They weren’t able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.

10But he was too wise for them. That’s because the Holy Spirit gave Stephen wisdom whenever he spoke.

10But the Holy Spirit helped Stephen to be very wise when he spoke. So these men could not say that he was wrong.

10and they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking;
