Acts 6:11

11Then they secretly persuaded some men to say, “We have heard Stephen speak blasphemous words against Moses and against God.”

11Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

11Then [to attack him another way] they secretly instructed men to say, “We have heard this man [Stephen] speak blasphemous (slanderous, sacrilegious, abusive) words against Moses and against God.”

11Then they prompted some men to say, “We heard Stephen speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God.”

11Then they suborned men, who said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

11Then they suborned men, which saide, We haue heard him speake blasphemous wordes against Moses, and God.

11Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

11Then in secret they talked some men into lying about Stephen. They said, “We heard Stephen speak evil things against Moses and against God.”

11Then those men secretly gave money to some bad men. They told them to say to the Jewish leaders, ‘We heard this man, Stephen, say bad things against Moses and against God.’

11then they suborned men, saying, “We have heard him speaking slanderous sayings in regard to Moses and God.”
