23Away with the noise of your songs!

I will not listen to the music of your harps.

23“Take away from Me the noise of your songs;

I will not even listen to the sound of your harps.

23“Take the noise of your songs away from Me [they are an irritation]!

I shall not even listen to the melody of your harps.
