Amos 7:14

14Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees.

14Then Amos replied to Amaziah, “I am not a prophet, nor am I the son of a prophet; for I am a herdsman and a 7:14 Or pickergrower of sycamore figs.

14“I was not7:14 Or I am not a prophet,” Amos replied, “nor was I the son7:14 Or nor am I the son of a prophet; rather, I was a herdsman and a tender of sycamore-fig trees.

14Amos answered Amaziah, “I was not a prophet. I wasn’t even the son of a prophet. I was a shepherd. I also took care of sycamore-fig trees.
