11In Him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ2:11 Literally in the cutting away of the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ and not by human hands.
11When you received Christ, your circumcision was not done by human hands. Instead, your circumcision was done by Christ. He put away the person you used to be. At that time, sin’s power ruled over you.
