Deuteronomy 1:13

13Choose some wise, understanding and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you.”

13Obtain for yourselves men who are wise, discerning, and informed from your tribes, and I will appoint them as your heads.’

13Choose for yourselves wise, understanding, experienced, and respected men from your tribes, and I will appoint them as heads (leaders) over you.’

13Choose for yourselves wise, understanding, and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will appoint them as your leaders.”

13Take you wise men, and understanding, and known, according to your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.

13Bring you men of wisedome and of vnderstanding, and knowen among your tribes, and I will make them rulers ouer you:

13Take wise men of understanding who are respected among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.”

13So choose some wise men from each of your tribes. They must understand how to give good advice. The people must have respect for them. I will appoint those men to have authority over you.”

13You must choose some wise men who understand what is right. Choose people that you know, from each of your tribes. Then I will give them authority as your leaders.’

13Provide wise and understanding men for yourselves that are known to your tribes, and I set them for your heads;
